Snap distance
The snap distance as
defined in the
Snap-Distance toolbar is used for
all regionalization options applying values to a target geometry. It defines
the distance up to which targets will be considered. The setting here
provides the default shown in the
Snap-Distance toolbar when the model
is loaded.
Minimal Slice Distance
When applying elevation data to the model, the resulting mesh geometry is validated, using this minimal slice distance. If the resulting slice distance is below the set minimum, the Verify Assignment dialog is brought up, allowing for different ways of correction.
|
The elevations are not automatically validated again when changing this setting. To validate current elevations for the new minimal slice distance, use the Validate button in the 3D-Layer Configuration dialog. |
Raster Settings
In this part, the distances for a raster can be defined in X and Y direction. The raster can for example be used in 2D Supermesh design.
